DIY PITA BREAD PIZZAS


    Pita bread pizzas


    INGREDIENTS (SERVES 4-6)

    • 1 packet mini pita breads (GFO—swap for GP wraps/pita)

    • Tomato paste

    TOPPING IDEAS:

    Roast pumpkin

    Capsicum

    Grilled chicken

    Spinach

    Red onion

    Basil leaves

    Pineapple

    Cherry tomatoes

    Garlic Rocket

    Olives

    Mushrooms

    Top with feta or mozzarella cheese (VO/DFO—sub for vegan cheese)

    METHOD

    1. Preheat oven to 180C. Place pita breads on trays, spread tomato paste over pita bread, then add toppings.

    2. Place in oven for 5-10 minutes, or until starting to go brown and crispy and cheese is melted
